>>88518000I miss the world of Avatar, but Seasons 2 and 4 of LOK were a bust in way too many areas.
Let's get the obvious out the way. Avatar wan episodes were fantastic and make up for the mild lore irregularity, Kuvira was entertaining, Bolin was a delight in all of the seasons, the music was fine, protags being gay is just meh instead of bad or good, and no a show about fighting corrupt leaders will occasionally contain segments about how to treat others in society better.
The problem was, in many areas, the plot was massively inconsistent, making Amon the most stable of all villains. Why doesn't unalaq get beaten on the many chances possible, and why are his motives so retarded? Why was zaheer so feared before he became an airbender, and what drugs were the red lotus on? Why did the red lotus play no part in season 4, as if this illuminati style organisation doesn't exist simply because baldly got caught? Why does kuvira start sending people to gulags because of ethnic backgrounds, was the dictator thing not emphasised enough already?
This isn't even concerning the other characters. Why is spirit owl so stupid/traitorous? Why is the relationship between asami and korra blander than a bread sandwich when it's trying pass itself off as some kind of 'sailor moon style' subtle relationship? Why is mako irrelevant after season 1, in terms of both bending and character? Why are squirrel suits replacing those kickass staves? When did that GIANT ROBOT get created, outside of any warning whatsoever? How does kuvira make her forces surrender, when they clearly have the upper hand? What the fuck was that flashback episode in S4? Why is every villain defeat underwhelming? Why can't korra dodge? Why does korra have the glassest jaw in the world? What was the point of pixie airbender's return of raava, when it should have been in vaatu the whole time? Why are the spirits useless in S4? Why did the avatar chain get nixed for no reason? WHY CAN'T KORRA AIRBEND PROPERLY?
