I saw this with my wife's son, and I was annoyed that the plot implied every generation of cute little lovable trolls prior to the ones we follow were eaten by the ogres. Yes, these guys got away, but everyone else got eaten. Hell of a thing for a kids movie these days.

Eh, I don't really care. DAS is like the neo-Pixar now. Sorry if that sounds too haram, I'm just glad that they're making good movies either way.

Likewise, Pixar has definitely had some misfires the past few years with sequels but I think they're still capable of putting out great films.

Hey, if you two got anything positive out of the movie, props to you, but for me, and basically anyone I knew who had seen the movie, it was just a more boring and more crappy looking "Bugs Life", not that bugs life was much good either though.

I just found the plot of A Bug's Life and the characters way too irritating.

I actually remember so much about Antz.
The War General played by Gene Hackman was fun. The Bee whose wife was murdered was really sad etc.

Only problem with the movie for me was the little girl bergen and her love story shit, I know it was pretty central to the climax of the movie and everything, but she was just so unlikable.

Most of the rips right now are too dark. Some people on tumblr have managed to get good rips of certain scenes, but not of the whole film.

The problem with modern Pixar is that they switched roles with DAS. Now they're the ones playing it safe with boring film ideas or pumping out sequels while DAS keeps making new stuff
