Then the answer would obviously be to pick another one of Gendy's interpretations of an even bigger franchise.
I'm sorry but any character from Star Wars written and directed by Gendy would whip the fucking floor down with Jack and especially Aku, the guardian, the scottsman.
First of all they're sci-fi characters which are fighting a goddamn war, they're meant to be powerful in order to survive against one another.
Second of all the fights looked much more insanely fierce and fast-paced. Gendy's Star Wars also had a much higher budget which allowed for the characters to actually move in a fluid and weighted manner and have the choreography which Gendy couldn't manage with Jack on a tv budget.
I'm not even sure if Jack's magical sword could survive a lightsaber or if Jack could survive any force pushing.
Whilst Jack was in a sci-fi setting, he was in a corrupted shitty sci-fi universe where they never had laserguns, lightsabers, real advanced technology like exo-suits, robots, real trained arms men. That's another problem with Jack's setting... it's ruled by Aku which makes it stunted technologically and more like a post-apocalyptic world where some things in particular are advanced, but the rest is actually just as worse if not even worse than their medieval counterpaths.
So /co/ will you give me the key to the animation industry now?
