>>88293321I don't like the character designs. Steven is a fat retarded manlet, his main love interest is an uglier poo-in-loo version of the black love interest from Danny Phantom. Most of the gems aren't bad but they aren't great either, sick of seeing them all over the drawthread. The townspeople are all awful looking Hot Topic shoppers and melted GI joes. Only the monsters are occasionally inspiring, and even they pale in comparison to Gravity Falls.
The humor is absolutely awful. You can tell most of these "jokes" are written by women. The music is nothing to write home about either, its there sometimes and it isn't. The powers of the characters, particularly Steven, are poorly defined, when you talk to an SU fan outside their thread bringing up Steven in a versus thread you'd think he'd be able to beat the shit out of Superman and Batman at the same time but in reality he's just a pussier version of Finn that is capable of dispatching equally incompetent enemies.
The pacing is awful, the 11 minute format means its always doomed to be a poor man's Gravity Falls, and its popularity is mostly due to it sucking the life out of AT, as well as picking up GF's shattered fanbase, and now its already ebbing its popularity away to The Loud House. Sad!
