I really feel bad for Azula. Yeah she was a psycho crazy bitch. But in a way, her case is justified, she was just trying to please her father, not by having a high position in power or inherent the title of Fire Lord or Phoenix King. But out of love instead. Not only that but when her mom got banished and Zuko seemed distinct, in her way, she wanted a family and in the end of the show, It really showed like she was losing them. In the final moments of the show. We see her breaking down mentally. When she started to seeing visions of her mom and trying to act tough but in reality, she was sad and felt like that her mom wasn't around and give motherly love.....imo
