Trump had the Crooked Hillary thing, but anyone who heard of her scandals already had it planted in their mind that she's about as corrupt as anyone can expect from a politician.
There has never been a candidate like Hillary in recent memory who went so far out of their way to create such a divide between the voters, even more than whatever Trump rattled off on during the election about illegal immigrants and the wall. Even going far enough to call the side who doesn't agree or want her as the deplorables, not to mention the bullying and group violence.
I don't know how I feel about Trumps proposed policies (besides the ones that try to dampen lobbying), but he played the media like a fiddle, and the democrats only helped him with how bumbling and stupidly smug they were.
