>>86964151Having the body-count (and the methods) that Punisher does while maintaining a 100% accuracy rate is plot-contrivance extreme. I mean, it's a comic, so that's fine, but don't pretend like it's not some comic-book-writing-tier ridiculousness.
Christ, do we have a count somewhere of just the shit that Punisher has blown up? That's not exactly precision work, man. Even if he was completely correct regarding everyone he *meant* to kill, the fact that nobody's ever managed to be in the wrong place in the wrong time puts him at reality-bending levels of silliness.
Yes, he's careful. Superhumanly careful. But he can't read minds or see the future. He completely, and with one hundred percent accuracy determines the guilt of everyone he points a gun at with often extremely limited information, and he's done it hundreds (thousands? How many people has the Punisher fucking shot to death at this point?) of times.
Even if he were actually superhuman, the pure number of times that something can go wrong when your full-time hobby is murdering people should have landed him a stray bullet, piece of shrapnel, or--hell--a hobo he wasn't aware of sleeping next to that building he just blew up at some point during his career.
It's on par with Hulk's never-killed-an-innocent deal.
