>>86938262>Doom jobs to everyone though, once in a whileTrue, but it tends to be balanced out with him wrecking pretty much everyone most of the time.
>and ALWAYS jobs to the FF. That, again, is a writing problem. Idk why you single out Sue, when she's actually one of the most believable people to be able to defeat him. As I said, she's ridiculously OP.The Thing is, and this may surprise you, other then the horrible Unthinkable story arc, which is thankfully never mentioned again, Doom has NEVER used magic against FF. You know why? He wants to prove that he's smarter then Reed, that he's better then him at what he's best at, and that's science. Magic would be an effortless victory for Doom, but he won't play with a stacked deck. He needs to beat them with science. And since he's equal to Reed in intellect but in his arrogance wants to prove he's better, he always loses. The problem is, in this scenario, Sue was invading Latveria, and Doom really had no reason not to just fuck her shit up. He didn't even need magic, his armor has some absurd gadgets, and his blasters alone have KO-ed Adam Magus and Adam Warlock. So for him to lose like that on his home turf in a situation where he has no reason not to just go Gandalf on everyone's ass is just about the worst writing imaginable. And Sue does shit like that all the time.
>he could easily be Marvel's ThanosI thought Thanos was Marvel's Thanos. Lol, i get what you meant. I always did see Doom as mini-Thanos when it came to capabilities and power. Doom is insanely powerful, but some writers insist on still writing him as ''scheming guy in tin-foil armor''. Bendis, whatever else can be said about him, was at least always adamant on focusing on the fact that Doom is a a master sorcerer and that magic is his greatest tool and form of offense.
>That said, maybe making her a main character in current Marvel would not a very good idea. Maybe it'd be better to wait.I agree.
I love Sue, i really do. I love them all.
