He also functions as a girl. But really marco is an all around good guy, he looks fine, he's reliable, has money, generally nice etc.
His only competition is: A literal demon that clearly isn't over his issues and is already an ex to star showing their relationship didn't work out before and star clearly isn't interested in trying again. A fat guy, a nerdy black guy, a guy that showed up for one episode and lied about who he was and then instead of learning anything continued to do it. And then literal monsters, most of which have no character and are just jokes. There's also oscar and she likes him atm(probably) but he lives in his car and does nothing but very, very terribly play music.
