I've been wondering when more of the Wildstorm concepts in general would make it into the DCU. I mean, the "Voodoo" and "Grifter" books were pretty rank, "Stormwatch" had some potential, but it seems the only concepts that have lasted have been Midnighter and Apollo, and that's at least partially because they're parodies-played-straight (despite also being gay, ironically enough) of Batman and Superman. I mean, Void was a living dimensional aperture, you'd think there would be a place for her in the Orrery of Worlds at least.
A Gen-13 book COULD work in the DCU, like a "Runaways" thing where the kids are escapees from the government/some black-ops thing like I/O in the old Image comic, maybe SHADE or the DEO...make them the new version of the DEO orphans from "Titans" or Secret from "Young Justice" maybe? Basically play up the "teens with powers on the run" that was the premise in the original Gen-13 miniseries before they became Choi and Campbell's "throw it at the wall" book, where the DC heroes are as much the antagonists as they are possible allies.
