Jobbing does not mean failing. Jobbing means failing in circumstances where you really should have won. Or better yet, consistently failing in circumstances where you should have won.
Wile E. Coyote is expected to fail, and is frequently in circumstances where he should have failed. Half of the time the Road Runner isn't even present when one of Wile E. Coyote's brilliant ideas (often literally) blows up in his face. Wile E. is a chronic fuck up who usually defeats himself. Failure is expected from the very outset.
