>>85275241It's a cultural thing. Rape, like murder and other tragedy, is comedy material. However like murder and other tragedy it becomes generally less funny when surrounding a close problem. Women been on the wrong end of rape for a really long time and only recently have things started to turn around and in many places it's still a problem. It's still something of a fresh wound for a lot of people.
I'm sure men were raped by women in the past, but the basic structure of society made it much easier for men to rape women and have that be ok. The entire problem has less to do with individual worth or select situations and more to do with overall history and culture.
Rape can be funny and maybe in a hundred years society can laugh at anyone being raped, the same way we can laugh at holocaust jokes now. But in the 50s you'd have a hard time putting your jews-in-oven gags to the mainstream.
>tldrDon't be social retards. Jokes are rely on cultural context, not everything works out perfectly balanced.
