>>84980860Destiny doesn't exist, there is a generic structure of how things happen and players themselves fuck it up and figure out how to solve it themselves.
Time, well that's also ridiculously Complicated. I made this idea as an explanation before I saw it memed, I swear on this. There is no alpha timeline, that was just caliborns doing. Instead, there starts off with just one timeline until scratch constructs and time players mess all that up in a variety of ways. None of them are favored over the other, however having multiple non stable looped versions of yourself increased the likelihood you will die. Until one iteration of you goes god tier, then every other one of you is doomed. The memories of the dead go into the mind of the god tier player. The concept of a greater self is a shit writing device, but it is perfect for tabletop because your ultimate self is the person actually playing the game who has the sum of all of their iterations. End game has timelines and extra versions of players reduced down to one of every successful player.
>>84981343Didn't know there was a /trash/ session, it sounds beautiful. When I formally release the rulebook PDF on tg I will be taking lots of ideas in then, and if they don't fit what I think I'm making, I plan to compile mod packs for each grouping of Shitty memes, and I'm sure hsg will have several, that being one of them. I like the prophecy thing though, I'll try and work that in.
Alchemy is an utter memefest, the worst thing so far was a player who made a plush Sonichu that when you put a few boonbucks in it plays Tick Tock by ke$ha. He plans to leave it on another players world ahead of them without any note.
And I had players messing around on Prospit and Derse. I honestly messed that part up, but everyone was too busy figuring out controls to get much out of it anyways.
And will let the players decide what their fraymotifs are themselves, they pick songs and what it does.
