So, what happened was, the story was about this guy who was thirsty as fuck. He was wondering the desert with his best friend who was a bird, right? I think it was an eagle or something, and the dude was super dehydrated. Anyhow, after days, they find a waterfall, and the guy fills up his cup with water, but every time he goes to drink it, the bird knocks it out of his hands. After the third time, he gets so fed up he fucking kills the bird - his best friend mind you - by cutting it down with his sword. And so, he goes to get another drink, but he notices a snake behind the waterfall dripping its venom into the water. If he had drank the water, he would have died, and the bird was just trying to warn him. The end. I guess the lesson is "Your friends might have a good reason for being dicks; so don't kill them."
So, anyway, yeah, the daughter lion read this, and she goes full Tumblr. She thinks the story is so sad, that no one else should ever read it. Her brother is like "What the fuck are you doing? That's the property of the library. Put it back, bitch."
And she doesn't want to put it back, she wants to hide it away from the world. But her brother is really dedicated to the library, so he keeps trying to put the book back in case other people want to read it. In the end, they get into this big fight, and his sister is about to strike him down, killing him, until she remembered the lesson she learned from the book. She then sadly tells her brother to put the book back, so that other people can read it, and perhaps they'll learn the same lesson she did, and won't make the same mistake she almost made.
Like, Jesus Fuck, I don't know who thought that would be a good idea for an episode, but it certainly stuck with me all these years. So bravo, writers, bravo.
