The movie bombed in China. It was China's most expensive animated movie ever, coming in at $60,000,000 and completely animated in the United States. Unless they can recoup their losses elsewhere, it's going to go down as a disaster.

Chinese pirates are never as reliable as one would think, but the very end of the movie was put on YouTube in poor quality. Guess it's fitting that it ends with a concert instead of just some random dance music. Video is in Chinese, of course.
