You know, the School Shooter analogy? The asshole who deliberately went to Utopia with the express purpose of fucking shit up? Then Aaron tries to make him an anarchist wannabe and the most powerful X-Kid, despite the fact that Surge, Elixer, Hellion, Laura and even that fucker Ink are more powerful then Quire ever could be and have deeper characters.
Then to top it all off, you give an obnoxious cast who have one note personalities and are just really shitty people who you really want to see killed by a sentinel.
To answer your question, yeah, I wanted a New X-Men book. Because there were so many good stories that could have been told. But, if Wolverine and the X-Men had been any of the things that you said I wouldn't minded not getting one. Instead, for the reasons above, it was a a fucking mess and proof that Wolverine fanboys have no goddamn idea how to write an X-Book.
