>>83655989>Machismo? Self-congratulatory fluff stories about dominance through thuggish brutality? Cruelty? That's gone now.really? I beg to differ,
>>83641468>>83640726these are more recent and written to pander to women. Machoism never left it just took the female form.
Comics changed over time yes, but they were less to pander to thing like Machoism to actually tell a vivid story of conquering adversity and weakness.
The day of the silver age of comics is gone, but new female fans look at past comics and not the more recent.
What's been going on isn't just female power taking over, it's taking a step back in ways of writing a good story.
Captain America and Super man were created through pandering, but their stories changed over the 70 years they've been out.
The only thing that is changing now is that female writers and male writers are forgoing what we learned and are taking not 1 or 2 steps back, they are taking a giant leap backwards because of the thought we are still in the silver age of comics with out even knowing it.
Take the Mockingbird comic, that entire issue was just complaining about male only superheroes. Instead of showing how she overcame obsticles to become a hero through hard work, the writer decided to show how unfair it was to be a woman. Then Boom she wins because GirlPower, why? because she was opressed. No explination of how she over came it. This shit is like how superman could shoot rainbows for no reason, why? because hrs superman. We don't write like that anymore but new writers tend to think we still do and still live in the 1950s. So the only change is the Machoism of arrogant sjw writers. They are trying to change things but the problem is things have changed, they are just incredibly late to the party.
