>>82894450Actually if you're carrying more than 30 kilos of adipose tissue, you need a calorie deficit of about 3500kcal to lose one of those kilos. That's about a day and a half for an average man or a day for a woman, assuming you were going to do something stupid like not eating and not exercising.
In fact you can do as little as 30 minutes exercise - raising your heartrate to somewhere above 120 and below 190-[your current age] and you'll lose about 300 calories; so if you kept that up for 10 days you'd have lost almost a kilo, and after 100 days you'd have lost it all (and you'd die, because you need some body fat to live).
Of course that assumes you can stick to a sensible diet, but as long as you stay out of starbucks you should be fine. It's really just a matter of sticking to ~1800 calories a day for most men now (unless you do a lot of physical work, in which case you need a little more - but 1800 is your minimum, 1600 for women). There are several simple things you can do to achieve that, such as not eating burgers, not having that whole frozen pizza, and not being such a fucking glutton. If you eat with other people regularly, try taking on the cooking duties some or all of the time. They'll probably be happy to lose a little weight too, especially if it means eating something they didn't have to prepare.
Need a snack to fill the void? Have something with low calories and high satiety, like ricecakes or fucking apples, dumbass, or just drink a glass of water, you lard-guzzling fatso. Filling your stomach doesn't have to mean filling it with halva and chocolate syrup.
