It's so... gross. He thinks, or at least he acts like he's preaching true wisdom, but he does it in such a condescending way.
And it's not clever either. It's got those marks of trying to be more than it is. If you wanted to be clever you wouldn't put '#HATE on your monster. You expect the audience to be smart enough to do it themselves. And they don't,
And it's nothing but a guy just, just drawing out platitudes and things he's heard other people say.
I haven't seen anything presented as a moral dilemma either, only things the artist thinks are morally true clashing with straw men and visually obviously evil characters.
I think nothing I've ever seen has embodied pretentiousness more than these.
If they made a comic about abortion it wouldn't be one which considered the many powerful and deep gray areas that surround it. It would be a comic where a clearly heroic character is victimized by clearly evil characters.
Writing his post has made realized I hate this guy, or guys.
It's the person who makes Mary-sue Sonic the hedgehog OC's, growing up, and thinking that they need to share their enlightened wisdom with the world. And it's just as cringe inducingly awful as Coldsteel the hedghog.
