So will Wolverine finally have his costume in Apocalypse, or will they just disappoint us again? It would be nice considering this is Hugh Jackman's last X-Men movie, and we'll probably not see him wear it in Wolverine 3 if they actually do decide to do Old man Logan.

No. He doesn't even play a significant part in the film. He comes in after Apocalypse is dealt with and shit.

Do I want a comic accurate costume for the movies? No. But if so, it might be passable if they at least omitted that stupid mask.

I actually love that costume. It was nice and bright and was closer to the comics. I think Avengers 2 Cap was the worst. Especially hated how the red stripe in the middle didnt go all the way down to the belt. It just stops halfway through. Pissed me off so much.

Also the suit that was shown in the wolverine deleted scene won't even be the same as an updated version they should make now.

Anyways I love the suit but god fuck its horrible. The other day watching the 90s tv series I realized how tacky and retarded they were. Specially for someone who has no time for shit like Logan. To be fair he wouldnt wear it. Why would Wolverine run around on a shitty Halloween costume? Its pretty much out of character. As much as the pandering Magneto armor on DoFP.

There are characters who would not have any issue wearing costumes, but there are characters that wearing costume doesnt make sense at all. Specially Wolverine who is virtually indestructible. He doesnt need a helmet. He doesnt care about fashion or looks. He just wouldnt wear it. He is too jaded.

I can see Magneto wearing the old X1-X3 costume which is pretty much grounded and the only fantastic shit is the helmet which has a practical use. But I dont see why Magneto used the shitty armor on DoFP, is not that he is afraid of bullets. Magneto would not waste his time on looking like a cosplaying faggot. Specially not the movie version.

In my opinion it should go without saying that his character and the entire context of everything should be reworked to be more comic accurate and therefor it would make sense. No one is saying it should literally come out of nowhere and everyone should randomly wear comic accurate tights. It did make a fair bit of sense that he got it as a gift at the end of "The Wolverine" but then it was deleted, and if he's the only one withe a costume yea that would be weird. I want most characters to have their costumes, like Sabertooth and shit. Its a problem all the movies and characters in them have, not just Wolverine.

Dunno if this is how they want to spin it but they could say this is their uniform to let local authorities know they are mutants there to help against superhuman threats. Kind of like when you see FBI agents with jackets with fuckhuge letters written on the back and shit, just their uniforms also identify some of them as basically human weapons or some such. But again, dunno if that's how they want to spin it.

Ant-Man and Iron Man's helmets are mechanical and functional. Captain America spends most of his time without anything on his head, and Thor and Loki haven't worn their helmets at all in years, probably because they look stupid. And Falcon's movie costume is nothing like his original costume in the first place.

More often than not, masks/helmets DO look stupid, and the movies try to avoid them, especially when they serve no purpose and are entirely aesthetic.
