The film had to many plot lines running at once what should of happened was
>MoS2 - Introduce Lex Luthor as a genius rich guy trying to rebuild Metropolis, have him collecting Kryptonite and Zod's tech on the side while keeping up the good guy act, end reveal of the Doomsday project.>New Batman movie - Main villain could be someone who hasn't been used like clayface or manbat etc side villain is Lex, Batman is terrorizing Gotham such as straight up murder.>Bruce is sending aid to Metropolis etc while moonlighting as Batman, Gordon is good guy.>Has to fight GCPD and Manbat finding clues that Superman is involved due to Kryptonian tech being used.>Commissioner Gordon is on Lex's Payroll>Lex uses Gothams docks to bring in illegal space rocks>Batman ends up taking down Manbat at the end>Is forced to fight Gordon, Batman holding back.>Shock Batarang embeds into gordon, it has no effect>Reveal Gordon is Clayface and has been since about 3rd of the way through the movie>Clayface escapes letting Batman know that Gordon will go down with the ship>Batman save trapped Gordon from a boat thats rigged to blowup and sink>End reveal Lex has begun work on Metalo.Then BvS thanks to Bat movie and MoS2 you can cut out the whole kryptnite shit and the shit doomsday reveal, first badguy is Metalo Superman causing shit in gotham, bats takes it as Supes builds suit etc, Clayface Bats causes shit in Metropolis Superman researches the Bat, bruce goes to metropolis and buys the daily planet, clark butthurt bruce hits on lois.
Lex leaves clues leading to Batman confronting Superman, fight ensues.
