Seriously? Couldn't Fox just let JLaw go? I mean Days of Future Past was the perfect swan song for the character since her arc was complete. Why are we bringing her back for this movie despite her having a prominent role makes zero sense?

That it's just bullshit, Ian McKellen, Fassbender, McAvocado and other actors improved their careers by being in superhero movies, they keep playing other good roles in films.

MCU is a different case, because Marvel keep them busy for so long they can hardly get any other role, For example Chris Evans has been in 1 MCU movie for the last 3 years in a row, RDJ was in 2, but next year they will start shooting Avengers 3.1, and later 3., and Samuel L Jackson has been in like 9 movies or so, and still got a contratct for 6 more. That why Marvel actors careers "seem" stagnated.
