Seems like everything that didn't end in a Superman victory was pretty much Batman holding a hostage and telling Superman he would be indirectly responsible for something bad happening to someone else if he put him in the hospital.
So in a situation where Batman can't strap a bomb to someone that'll go off when he loses consciousness or whatever and exploit Superman's general distaste for loss of life, he'd probably lose.
I mean, there isn't really any physical thing that'd stop Superman from liquefying Bats or hurling him into space.
