>>80219687They can do it in a few ways, somewhat sorted by cost:
a) Handle it like Arrow minus the flashbacks, and not mention how Danny became so traumatized.
b) He tells the story via stylistic Freeze-Frames, like a History Channel documentary back in the day.
c) Iron Fist enters a dark cave in the middle of the snow with flames coming out. No dragon is shown on screen.
d) Animated backstory, like the first Ice-Age or the second Kung-fu Panda
e) Full on episode dedicated to showing his backstory with a fully CGI'd dragon, like GoT or The Hobbit.
I'd be perfectly fine with d) and e), but I'm not sure we'll get them. I'm sure we won't get Flash-level CGI, though. It works great for it's campy-ness, but wouldn't with this tone and would stand out so much. the obvious exception is the King Shark, which actually looked great.
>>80219800I don't think it'd work fine with Charlie's face. It's too deep (?), as in, his cheek bones aren't parallel, they go backwards. He'd look like a bulldog because the lines would go back and not to the sides. It's the same reason he looked good with the black bandana, since you could see less of his face details.
Ben Affleck sort of had the same problem in his mask. It makes the eyes look too far apart and makes him look like a pug or a french bulldog, which Charlie can afford even less.
