>>79738181I'm pretty sure this is literally everybody's opinion on Dominator so far. She obviously has a lot of potential, but the writers choose to just ignore her and put off developing her as long as possible. The Bot helped a little because it's the first episode since her debut that she's had more than one or two lines, but waiting 23 episodes after the episode that introduced her to give her a proper personality is flat-out retarded.
That being said, I still have hope for her and I still think she can be a good character. They just need to spend more time developing her/showing the audience what she's like, instead of having the other characters talk about her.
>>79738381This REALLY annoys me about Dominator. Every other villain is great, and generally every villain has a legitimate reason to try and take over the galaxy. However, with Dominator, it seems like all she wants to do is destroy planets for the sake of "being evil". Then, on the other side of the spectrum, they take a villain who was literally just a floating black cube that never has any dialogue at all and give it a backstory, motivation, and redemption, all in one fucking episode.
>>79738501The difference here is that in Wander over Yonder, we already have villains all over the galaxy trying to do the exact same as Dominator. She brings literally nothing new to the table as of yet.
>exploring different angles of Wander/HaterSo far, all she's done is make Wander obsessed with this ONE plan to make Hater and her fall in love, and make Hater do the generic dumb-guy-loves-pretty-lady schtick. Neither of these are very unique to Dominator, nor are they interesting. Yeah, she could be used for more, but they've been setting up this one Hater romance arc for the whole season.
