Some call it the greatest Superman story for a reason. Whether you agree or not, you have to admit it's up there and perhaps it should have been treated with the reverence they seemed to have for Batman Year One and The Dark Knight Returns.
But as I say, it was early days for them and it was a bit risky perhaps.
In it's favour though, it had an absolutely phenomenal Superman theme, one that still gives me goosebumps and to me seems to go perfectly with the "they will join you in the sun speech"
