I always thought Hub City was pretty much Detroit times five. Absolutely irredeemable in terms of a crime reputation and makes Gotham look like a basket of kittens.
Star City? One way to make it pop, visually, is to glam it up with optimistic Art Deco. Huge, majestic statues built into buildings, high-tech gangs, shiny chrome concept cars.
Coast City's another questionable city too. Could work well to present it as half 50s suburbia, half rebuilt, high-tech industry complete with statues of GLs.
