>>78749008It was a standard action story I suppose, but as far as the pacing is concerned, I thought it was superior to most of Flynn's arc's (especially in recent years). Most of all, it didn't feel anticlimactic, which is a huge problem a lot of Ian's stories have. His stories tend to drag on too long at times, and are often repetitive, and lack memorable conclusions.
Have you read Worlds Unite? That's probably his worst work. It was for the most part, just a string of cameo appearances which barely constituted a coherent narrative.
I'm a big fan of Ian's early stuff, but I think it's time for him to pass the torch. Evan Stanley seems more than up to the task considering her Universe arc.
