I went back to watch 2 or 3 episodes from the earlier seasons and the last episodes of season 2 in particular.
Season 3 is the one that makes the show stand out, I think.
The rest is a very good show nonetheless, but I didn't feel the need to watch it.
Do start from half-season 2 at least though. It did feel like what I watched was out of order, although everything was perfectly understandable.
You could probably find some list of key episodes from the first two season and then watch the third, if you just want to know what the fuss is about relative to the show. None of it is bad though, and the patrician choice would certainly be to watch from the beginning, unlike me (at the end of the day the stuff I avoided in total could be bingewatched in a day).
