Watching the dub, I actually like this show. It's like a strange mix of Kim Possible and Randy Cunningham, which I'm fine with. The villains are hit and miss though. Like Bubbler and Stormy Weather, but pigeonman was meh.

Honestly, the more i see of it, looking at the mouth movement, i'm actually thinking this isn't the dub. The animation looks like it was made for English, and the French and Korean are actually the dubbed versions.

Adrien's sounds a little too "dweebish" and I don't like Alya at all. Christina Vee does a great job as Ladybug, easily the strongest performance in the show.
I think I prefer French more both voice wise and sub translation wise but I'm pleasantly surprised with the English version. They could've done way worse, and I was afraid they were going to because the intro from the initial trailer sounded awkward.

All evidence seems to point to that. Honestly, it wasn't even that well hidden as far as twists go. Just about every scene or image we get of Gabriel Agreste (especially in the Bubbler episode) makes him out to be an asshole and potential supervillain anyways. I think he was somewhat decent in the Bowler hat contest he hosted in the Mister Pigeon episode, but he's been pretty awful otherwise. His hair is awful, by the way, and his dress ensemble isn't all that great either, yet I'm supposed to believe he is some genius fashion designer? Nothing he produces, that we see anyway, has been all that good.

I hope so, Hawk Moth is terrible. He doesn't really do anything. After powering up a disgruntled citizen with an Akuma, he basically just fucks off into the background. He has very little character development, his personality is basically "mean and foul-tempered," and he barely even exists as a character at all so much as a plot device that keeps the story (such as it is) moving.

I hope the next villains has a personality, some flair to him, and an actual presence among other characters and the audience. Hawk Moth barely exists despite being the central character storywise. How do you even do that?

I love Kamen Rider, and Ladybug seems to have a lot in common with tokusatsu on the surface. The first two episodes aren't clicking with me, though; it's a bit too silly for my tastes.

The true Win/Win is when they both see each other power-down at the same time, and gain sudden understanding of the sides of each other they weren't aware of.

Seeing an episode of Cat Noir and Marinette swapping snark and exasperation with each other would be fantastic though.

The fanart was made based on the 2DPV beore the series aired so this isn't actually based on Adrien and Marinette but on Felix and Marinette.

2DPV Marinette hated her Chat Noir and Felix hated Marinette. 3D Marinette is attracted to him and Adrien doesn't mind kissing her. Basically pic related.

Maybe Ladybug arrives on the scene and her powers run out or whatever.
Chat Noir arrives and thinks she another civilian that needs to be saved.
Then she argues with him about not needing to be saved and Chat Noir wonders what her problem is.

They've already interacted as Chat Noir and Marinette when Marinette has needed to help him.

Chat Noir flirts with her, and Marinette is tries to hide the fact that she's ladybug from him. But otherwise flirts back.

They're still amusing as hell together, but Marinette isn't a bitch to him and Cat isn't an asshole. In other words they don't act like a cliche sitcom couple. I personally find them to be a breath of fresh air.

In the 2D PV Marinette was a perennially perky honest-to-god stalker to Felix's gloom incarnate but Chat Noir was pretty much Pepé Le Pew while Marinette was much more business-like about superhero business. that's much more interesting than what we got, especially on Marinette's end.
