and in a few years we can have the kid go to school and get in fights and stuff, and the principal calls Carol and Jess in to discipline the kid, and all they care about was "did you win? ok, let's go get ice cream."
and since the kid will have spider-powers (we know they are inheritable) he'll get lots of visits from "Uncle Peter", who spoils him rotten and takes him on multidimensional adventures with Gwen and Jessica.
and of course the inevitable plot where the kid gets kidnapped as leverage against Carol, Jessica is badly injured trying to stop the kidnapping, and when Carol finds out where the bad guys are, she loses her shit and blows up an entire city block.
