I mean, if you want to have complex artificial intelligence in your story, and even have them integrated into society, why would you fail to include a safety protocol that even outdated technology has? For electricity going along the blue robot's external shell to cause her to sperg out, her servos and possibly processor (since she started speaking gibberish) would have to lack any sort of electrical insulation from her chassis. Humans didn't evolve with much electrical insulation in mind because of that whole water thing, but you'd think an
AI construct (or the manufacturers) would know better than to risk a very expensive and sophisticated (and possibly sentient!) machine breaking from some basic electrical interference.
I mean I could use a stungun on my pc case right now and not break the processor; electrical components have insulation buffers!
