I chose Batman as my mentor and made a huge, bulky dude with a casual, laid back body language, similar to TAS Harvey Bullock I guess. He wore all black and yellow, boots and gloves, tactical pockets everywhere and had a sweet leather jacket with a bear paw on it. I spent a stupid amount of time just parkouring around Gotham and climbing up buildings with my "bear" hands.
I beat all of the missions in Gotham by myself. I know that defeats the purpose of a MMO, but my tv was tiny at the time and I never figured out how to enlarge the text box. So I managed to stealth my way through every dungeon and beat every boss on my own somehow. It felt like something Batman would do anyways.
Once I got to Metropolis I finally had to team up with other players which was super fun. It felt like I was really playing my part on a team of superheroes, pepper spraying, tazing and entrapping hoards of enemies while the heroes with powers swooped in and finished them off. Felt like I was the "Batman" of the team.
There are also a lot of cool buildings in Metropolis with rooftop gardens and parks that are fun to chill in.
