>>77678134>He wouldn't have had issues if having a family had been acceptableDid you just ignore all that stuff with his mom and Palpatine?
>A thing that only existed with the Prequels to give them that dilemmaIt's a reason but it's not THE reason. And that doesn't change the fact that, again, if you think about it for a second, it's not hard to see why the stagnant Old Republic Jedi would have come to this conclusion.
>Luke had a romance with Leia until he found out she was his sisterNot a romance. Luke had a one-sided crush in ANH and Leia kissed him a single time in ESB to spite Han as part of the leadup to their full-blown romance.
>Obi-wan had a romance that he was never able to completely let go ofArguable.
>Kanan has a romance with Hera despite still claiming to be a JediDifferent era, and when we meet Kanan is a pretty disillusioned Jedi.
>Ezra has a poorly developing romantic pursuit that is never taught againstAgain, different era. And if Kanan doesn't give a shit why would his apprentice?
>That one Jedi fell in love with fucking Ventress of all people, but I don't really understand that one because I never touched that bookMost people agree it was bad.
>Jedi suck at following the no attachment ruleYou listed two other canon examples from Anakin's era, one of which is dubious and one of which was quite dysfunctional.
You listed 3 other canon examples from a completely different era, two of which are not applicable and one of which does not exist.
And that's still only 6 Jedi out of 10000. So you're not making a very good case here.
And let me reiterate, yet again, that the old Jedi order is not intended to be faultless, in fact it's quite the opposite.
