While kids is the target audience for Owl House, its very obvious the only people watching it are multi-colored hair dykes on Twitter and Tumblr for representation and "cute shipping moments" for them to flick their beans over. That's why the show is getting cancelled. That's why it doesn't even crack the top 15 on Disney+. That audience doesn't have enough hold or impact

Representation matters more than story to the current crop. Sucrose stopped writing anything compelling in Steven Universe other than Steven's straight white male guilt complex when people began telling her they associate with her characters. We were screwed out of a Jasper redemption arc.
