In universe answer: The yellow and blue/June and May were test tube clones of Pink/Webby and infiltrating Scrooge's mansion. They had even less socialization than Webby so of course hugging and smiles are difficult for them. At least how you'd try to rationalize what the show plays straight. That very scene has them being "yay we're now best sisters/friends" when they just met that day.
