>>130190676A lot of people in the film industry loved comics growing up but they aren't the ones working on the MCU. I think you have a lot of pretentious tv writers thinking they're better than they are working there.
If you had someone like a Martin Scorsese making a comic book movie he'd embrace the fact they used to be made for kids and you'd get all the classic costumes and color. George Lucas always said Star Wars was for kids but that didn't stop adults from liking it. I'd take that approach. The designs of the MCU do try too hard to by grounded and tacticool a lot. They've moved away from that a little but I'm sick of Andy Park's cookie cutter designs for characters in all corners of the universe.
