>>130198385Oh goodness no, Savino's seasons can go to hell, only a few alright entries in a sea of shit. But with Tingblad, Johnny gained much more of an identity, energy, direction, a vision. If it wasn't your cup of tea that's fine, but I legitimately think Tingblad managed something great with the franchise.
As said I don't think ill of S1. Definitely has its homeruns, even if as a whole I don't enjoy it as much as S2/3, for sure it's got its charms and some good laughs.
S4 though? It's just boring. Lots of meandering around with little substance, sans a couple exceptions. I'm not saying it's an abomination or anything like that, it's watchable, but I'd rather watch the rest of the series before anything from S4.
