>>128413913Similar to how New Gods like Darkseid exist in Avatars within every universe while their true essence resides in another plain of creation. Of course the concept of time and what the afterlife actually "IS" can be a little wonky too. One thing made clear is that all of existence is shaped by belief, The Dreaming/Dream of the Endless is where all ideas and thought originate, where gods are born, and because reality is shaped by thought then whatever belief is believed the most retroactively becomes fact. Hence why the Judeo-Christian God and cosmology IS the truth while all other religions simultaneously being correct as well. Existence is basically a paradox of the chicken and the egg meets Schrodinger's cat.
The Silver City, AKA Heaven, is a realm of creation where each section of its infinite domain shapes itself to the beliefs of the souls that go there, while also being a sort of rest stop since it's expected eventually that each soul someday grows bored of perfect paradise and opts for reincarnation instead.
Then there's Hell, which is formed around the individual and who's inhabitants will sometimes shape certain features to match modern society. Where of course all evil people go, but is also a realm for dead mortals who subconsciously think they deserve punishment go to to repent. It's also not well known, but you can actually leave whenever you want.
And there's the realm of the gods, where all religion's afterlives that aren't Abrahamic coexist like countries within a massive piece of land. This includes extra terrestrial gods and their realms as well.
Also Hades, which exists separately from the realm of the gods, and is not Hell (it's also the same place as the Kryptonian Phantom Zone).
