In the first movie it's shown that she's still living with her parents, and she was probably meant to be around Ash's age, and IIRC, Ash was explicitly referred to as a teen, which was a bit odd considering that she lived with her bf, so Meena might be even younger than Ash, like, closer to mid-teens.
