>>127266705>but thinking that Arcane is going be some soap opera they'll never stop making s just silly if you ask meI think it's realistically possible that it just never stops with no satisfying or conclusive ending to anything they set up. That the show becomes a game of perpetually setting up new characters, areas, and conflicts that only serve to set up the next batch of new characters, areas, and conflicts. We can potentially already see that happening as they've started introducing noxus, and noxus related story elements when the season itself didn't even conclude on any of the previous more intimately relevant storylines.
Of course this is all just wild speculation tinted with a heavy dose of pessimism. They could release 2/3/4/ect seasons of arcane with just the right amount of new added conflicts and satisfying conclusions to old ones to make a completely godly finished narrative and then move on to new or tangentially related projects with new characters and places, maybe even following a couple loose ends from arcane that weren't very relevant or important to tie off beforehand but are now able to be explored thoroughly but i wouldn't stake my life on it cause who really knows.
My point before was that when it comes to money, to any soulless megacorp like say riot, they almost always will fuck shit up for greed and im highly skeptical riot is the exception that proves the rule. And that's already on top of the poor odds that already exists for creating something good in the first place, so the odds for riot look especially bad.
