I never understood the appeal of rigging something like this, when I feel like it's just a fun little event for characters we appreciate and feel embody waifu/husbando tastes of the board subculture. You have absolutely nothing to gain--even on our board no one really gives a shit outside of the time of year the contests are held.
I mean, I have some waifus that are more obscure, but I wouldn't want any of them to win because that wouldn't feel representative of the board. And if your pick wins illegitimately, they only thing she'll get is ire because she's not actually as well-liked as the contest reflects.
