I know this one foreign dub of Steven Universe where they completely got rid of Ruby and Sapphire, except for their wedding scene. Their wedding scene was played as a flashback to explain Garnet's origins.
They changed Sapphire into a male in order to make the wedding seem heterosexual. Their names were also changed to "Princess Ruby" and "Prince Sapphire" respectively.
