I don’t get what people see in the New Gods and I find Morrison’s work on the
>muh metaphysical aspect
quite cringe and amateur. I feel as if tying his Bat-Run into all that hurt it. Moreover I just think the characters are just too bland and generic to be elevated to such a plane. I like things like the Endless and Lucifer in the DC Cosmology, but the whole New God corner is a weird and underwhelming part of it all.
