Why does DC treat Wonder Woman as the third important hero in the their universe alongside Batman and Superman when she rarely has any good stories, shouldn't the third member in the trinity be GL or Flash since they have had better comic stories than WW.

As a WW fan, I wish she had the sheer quantity of good stories that Batman and Superman have but she just doesn't

Sure, Wonder Woman isn't 1/10th as "iconic" as WB tries to sell her, 70% of her popularity is an old television show and the rest is being the team Mom on Superfriends.
Also nothing Johns has made will ever, ever be considered Iconic. Not even if he kills Moore, skins him and wears him as a suit.
