S3 and S4 had lots of stinkers, but they were still largely Rick and Morty type plots except bad. In S5, with the exception of the Nimbus episode, every single episode followed the same unfunny formula of just escalating a bizarre surface level nerd parody and thinking that's a substitute for humor or good writing. There's nothing clever or original or interesting about it anymore, because they need to churn out 70 episodes.
