>>124465736Anon, it's not enough for the things I like to succeed, what others love must also be crushed.
>>124465739What happened to gargoyles still puts a bad taste in my mouth. As a fan of both transformers and Ghost in the shell SAC, seeing them both get raped on screen and having basically all subsequent media be shit has been a blast and a half. Xiaolin showdown was pretty good and despite it ending soon, I felt it left on a good note. That is, until they decided to make a reboot and wore the former's corpse like an unfitted suit.
Seeing scooby doo reach it's peak with monsters inc only to have its third season cut and the franchise as a whole fall further and further has also been a great experience. Reminds me a lot of what happened to the Simpsons. At least I can take solace in the fact that Futurama ended before it got terrible (I didn't think the final season was THAT bad, some of the specials were worse). Oh god, thinking about final seasons that dropped in quality, fucking Boondocks, what did I remember that god awful last season. Also that John Witherspoon is dead. I am also mad that acceleracers, a series of fucking hotwheels movies that was way better than it had any right to be, ended on a cliff hanger.
You may be wondering why I'm not mentioning shows like ATHF, Black Dynamite, Generator Rex, and so on, but that's because while there was still plenty of things can could be done there, they still had a respectable number of episodes and went out on a high note.
I swear to god if they fuck up the last season of f is for family. There's more, but I'd rather not continue this exercise since I'm just getting more angry and sad.
