>>124387722>Do you think illusion magic has the potential to be OP?All Gus needs is those basic glyphs and he could summon fogs that have this high speeding roaring train illusions in them, except some are covering Massive trees that CAN hit you, so you have to dodge the trains constantly since you don't know which is real, tiring yourself out until he fucking cheats and throws an invisible log at you, and then you think you won and stopped him, and your friends come to save you and you tell him what he wanted to know, and then back in the nightmare again.
Basically, Illusion is limited to the creativity of the storyboarders.
>Does it rely on the target believing in what they're seeing, or could it be used to actually fuck with their mind? I'm surprised more illusionists don't use spells that beams epileptic flashes in your eyes even when you close them. Like you can't look away, your eyes are bewitched to see flashing lights until it breaks you.
>Who is the old man guarding the Looking Glass Ruins?A ghost.
>Is it possible we've seen an illusion in the show already that will be revealed in a big twist?Honestly what I thought was going to be revealed with Gus back in Season 1, like we've been talking to a doppleganger for half the season of some more troubled kid. He was too simple, too happy... then I realized this is the Owl House and the show's not really that thought out.
