Honestly, this really is a running theme with the media he’s actually written for. He CAN be funny, but he relies on raunchiness, vulgarity, and edginess like a crutch, and as far as crutches go, it’s not a very good one, as it has a tendency to snap and make his scripts fall flat on their faces half the time. I don’t know if he just lacks confidence in his ability to tell jokes without them, or if he just lacks the taste to tell when it isn’t funny, but either way, it doesn’t make me confident in his role writing for the Darkwing Reboot.

That's so true, I always just assumed he lacked the taste but it could just be him assuming the raunchy pop culture and political references would be funnier to people.
I guess it's subjective, I thought the humor was really fucking terrible and the worst part in a god damn comedy movie (besides Douche, he's funny) but my dad loved it, he laughed out loud all the way through, maybe we're just too cynical to enjoy gross out humor anymore.

It was like the network was trying to sabotage the show with the lack of advertising and terrible time slots . Olan pretty Much carried the marketing of this show by himself. The network couldn't handle the fact that he wants to do something different.
