Aren't castings like these a slap to the face to the original artist who design her look?

I don't care that she's black and Gayman can be as much of a faggot as he wants, the thing that bothers me is the minimal effort taken to her look in the series (from what was seen so far)

Same happened to Domino, I adore her look in the comics but in the movie she looked like shit. I presume the same thing will happen with Death.
